As the summer winds down, the action in Uruguay will once again turn its focus towards Montevideo. The season kicks off with a premiere event, Bartending Art, a cycle that will bring together the masters of cocktails from throughout Latin America in the mythical, and recently remodeled, Jockey Club. Together with the cocktail experts, each night of the cycle will feature various plastic, musical, and visual arts to add a nice cultural touch to the evening.

Bartending Art kicks off this Tuesday, March 3 with none other than Argentine Mona Gallosi, a bartender with more than 17 years of experience and well-known in Buenos Aires nightlife. Mona, aside from having an events company, has gained popularity by bringing the art of the cocktail to various destinations, always spreading her knowledge.
This Tuesday, Mona will share the bar with Jockey Club’s resident bartender, both creating a menu comprised of five hand-crafted cocktails, accompanied by a selection of finger foods. The event is reservation only by purchasing a ticket for $900, which includes three cocktails from the menu as well as tapas. Reservations can be made by calling 2908 0505.

Terminado el verano, la acción de Uruguay vuelve a tener su foco en Montevideo. Y la temporada se inicia con un evento de estreno, Bartending Art, un ciclo que reunirá a los masters de los tragos de Latinoamérica en el mítico edificio recientemente modelado del Jockey Club. Junto a los expertos en tragos, cada noche diversos artistas plásticos, musicales y visuales le pondrán el toque cultural a la noche.

Bartending Art se inaugura el martes, 3 de marzo con la presencia de la argentina Mona Gallosi, barwoman con 17 años de experiencia y reconocidísima en la noche porteña. Mona, además de tener su empresa de eventos, ha logrado popularidad por llevar el arte de los tragos a diversas radios, difundiendo su saber.

El martes, Mona comparte barra con el barman residente, realizando ambos un menú compuesto por cinco cocktails de autor, acompañados de una selección de tapas. El acceso es solo por reserva mediante compra previa de ticket valor $ 900, e incluye tres tragos a elección del menú ofrecido más una variedad de tapas. Se puede reservar por llamar a 2908 0505.
