Have you heard about 100 en 1 Día yet?  They’re a group of Santiaguinos focused on bringing together the city for one day in an effort to make it an even better place to live.  Think critical mass meets pay it forward.  On October 20, 2013, the group behind the effort hopes to see at least 100 ‘interventions’ come to life that will seek to improve life in Santiago.  Sounds cool, right?

The group has already started giving talks and workshops to those interested in creating or taking part in an ‘intervention’.  Additionally, and to gain more support, they’re throwing a kickoff party this Saturday at Bellas Artes favorite Bar The Clinic’s Radicales space.  There will be live music, screen printing, cheap haircuts, and more.  Think of it as a preview of what October 20 could look like if all goes as planned.

Tickets to the event are just $2.000 CLP beforehand, $3.000 CLP day of.  With such an inspiring movement behind the party, it promises to be a good one.  We’ll see you there!  [via 100 en 1 Día]
