By Natasha GreenhouseThis weekend Alex Atala’s restaurant Dalva e Dito celebrates its fourth anniversary of its beloved galinhada, a night of samba with the hearty chicken stew. However it won’t be at the restaurant! As the event has grown in popularity, it has needed larger spaces to accommodate the people, music and food. This Saturday’s galinhada will be held in none other than at the samba school Vai-Vai, an 85 year old institution and this year’s Carnaval champion. Also slated to perform are samba artists Edgar Pereira, Samba de Raiz, Nereu do Pandeiro and DJ Rodrigo Bento.
