On March 1 and 2, leading female minds from throughout the many facets of gastronomy, from science to farming, chefs to sommeliers, will gather in Bilbao, Spain for the first-ever Parabere Forum. Though not exclusively for women, the event will focus on the growing role of women in the culinary field, providing round tables, workshops, classes, and more. Professionals will come from five different continents to share their experience, including Gustu’s Kamilla Seidler, Leonor Espinosa of Bogotá’s Leo Cocina y Cava, and Brazilian chef Roberta Sudbrack, from her eponymously titled restaurant in Rio de Janeiro. 

‘As Chefs,’ The New All-Female Brazilian Cookbook, Launches Tonight In São Paulo (PO)

A collection of some of Brazil’s leading female chefs will be on hand in São Paulo tonight for the launch of As Chefs, the cookbook that tells the story of the fairer sex behind the stoves.  Helena Rizzo, recently voted as the World’s Top Female Chef, as well as Roberta Sudbrack, Bella Masano, and more will be on hand for to sign copies of the newly-released book.  The signing will take place at Livraria da Vila, located in JK Iguatemi at Avenida Juscelino Kubitschek 2041, from 19:00 to 21:00.  This will be a rare chance to see some of Brazil’s leading chefs together in one room.  Don’t miss out!
