Although we weren’t supposed to get the official results for the first-ever Michelin Guide for Brazil  (and the first for Latin America) until April 8, as it seems to happen with almost every new update to the guide worldwide, the results were leaked online this morning. Featuring a total of 17 restaurants and 18 total stars, there were no three-star restaurants announced, Alex Atala’s D.O.M., in São Paulo, was the only restaurant to receive two stars. The list includes the majority of Brazilian restaurants that are also included on the list of Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants. Maní, Epice, Roberta Sudbrack, and Attimo, amongst others, were all given one Michelin Star.
