Consider us disappointed, if not at least slightly intrigued. This past Monday, as Pepe Mujica was handing over the presidency of Uruguay after what many consider to have been a benchmark run, satirical news site Actualidad Panamericana announced that the former commander in chief would be opening a line of organic groceries. Dubbed Mujiquerías, they would offer “wholistic, organic, natural, self-sustaining and self-grown” products. Throw a “hipster” in there, and you’ve got yourself an ironic, non-true post. Untrue or not, at least for now, it’s not so far out of the realm of possibility.
