By Patrick HiegerBack for another installment of the best of everything between two pieces of bread, this year’s edition of Santiago’s Feria del Sanguche promises to be the best yet. As one of the Chile’s most beloved on-the-go culinary obsessions, this entire festival dedicated to the sandwich might just draw bigger crowds and longer lines than the wildly popular Food Truck Festival held earlier this year. Plus, with more than 20 different restaurants, food trucks, sandwich shops, and chefs participating, the variety at this year’s installment will be more diverse than ever.
Feria del Sanguche begins today, Thursday, December 11, and runs through Sunday, December 14. The festival, as usual, will take place at Parque Araucano, and will be open from 11:00 to 22:00 daily. Entry to the festival is $3.000 CLP and children 12 and under enter for free. In addition to the plethora of sandwiches, beer, drinks, and other treats, there will be live music, cooking demos, and giveaways. Get hungry.
