Later this month, food and cinema lovers will have the chance to see Buscando A Gastón, the documentary that follows the life and mission of Gastón Acurio, Peru’s most famous chef and export. Santiago Festival Internacional de Cine (SANFIC), now in its 10th year, will feature 90 different films from 30 countries, all shown over the course of six days in Santiago.  This will be the Chilean premiere of the Acurio documentary that has already won awards in Spain, and captured the minds and stomachs of viewers from South America to New York.

SANFIC will take place October 21 to 26 at Cine Hoyts locations throughout Santiago.  Entry to the films will be CLP $2.500 for general public, $1.500 for students.  For more information about the festival, or how to buy tickets, follow SANFIC on Facebook, or head over to their website.
