Visiting the Northwest of Argentina is one of the highlights of any trip to South America. This region is different than the rest of Argentina.  The people have a distinct look here, the food is rich and diverse and even the nature is unlike anything else in Argentina. The landscape is shaped by colorful deserts with mountains in every shade including greens, pinks, purples and reds. Fertile valleys punctuate the mountains and this area is home to the country’s second best wine region.
